Rainsticks - 2010

  Year 2 read 'Rainstick - a Fable' as inspiration for their papier mache rainsticks. The children experimented with different materials inside a tube to make the rain sound e.g. rice, lentils, etc. then put a large foil coil inside the tube to slow the rice, etc. down. They then painted and decorated the rainstick with bright patterns.
