Denham Village Infant School - Success for All

About Denham Village Infant School

Our small village school was built in 1878 and caters for children from Reception to Year 2 (aged four to seven). We have three bright and stimulating classrooms all well equipped with computers and interactive whiteboards. We have a large hall which is used for assemblies, physical education, concerts and other social events and a bright, airy dining area. The school has also purchased the adjoining school house and as a resut we have a fantastic, well stocked, new library, resource room, new kitchen with a cookery area for the children and a new staff room. We have a large playground at the front of the building and a beautiful, spacious playing field at the back of the school which includes stimulating apparatus and a wild nature area.

Our school is situated in the beautiful village of Denham which boasts the unspoiled countryside of  the Colne Valley and St Mary's, the Norman church (pictured below). The children have opportunities to visit St. Mary's (only a short walk away) to celebrate the various festivals throughout the year.

Pay a visit to the 'Gallery' to see the exciting art work the children have produced throughout the year.
